ensuring workers control the narrative: the app worker narrative report

This narrative project, grounded in case studies from North Carolina, Colorado, and the DMV, centers workers as both the primary audience and the lead storytellers. We believe no one can speak to gig work more powerfully than gig workers themselves, and they should be at the forefront of shaping a fairer economy.

Inside the report, you’ll find qualitative insights that highlight lived experiences and the messaging that resonates with gig workers. This includes real-world applications, guidance for future audiences and coalitions, and a pathway for building a stronger foundational narrative for organizing and external communications, especially with audiences who may be less familiar with the realities and harms of gig work.

justice speaks: two-year review

It has been two years since we started Justice Speaks to provide communications and advocacy support to organizations, unions, and campaigns on the front lines of the fight for justice. We’re excited to announce our two year report, which highlights some of the work we have done with our incredible partners.

As Trump and the tech oligarchy pose existential threats to our communities and our movement, we are renewed in our commitment to building strong communications, bold narrative strategy, and disciplined messaging.
